The man stands on top of a hill , vigilant , on guard , looking out for opportunity.
He wears a spotted cat skin to symbolize the union of the felines powers with his own , of its spirit , with its spirit.
His companion cat died a natural death and the man wears its fur with honour and love.
This symbolises great strength and determination , go after your goals , use your initiative , now is the time . Romance may be around the corner , if a child is what you wish for , now is the time , or financial opportunities may be there for the taking.

The magician wears a vast , flowing poncho like robe that conceals more than it reveals. His tattooed face gives him a mysterious and sinister appearance. He keeps his secrets to himself . His cat shaped headdress is symbolic with his oneness with cats . Although not even the magician can unlock the mind of a cat or interpret its psychic powers , the magician and the cat understand each other perfectly. By creativity , imagination and dexterity , the magician is able to make the object of three tarot suits - sword , cup and pentacle - levitate , controlling them with the symbol of the fourth suit , a wand.
This can signify deception , sleight of hand , someone trying to get one over on you , so beware of who is around you. Though it can also mean masterfulness , creativity , skill , willpower , self control , so maybe you are rolling with this energy and feeling very powerful with your career path , skills etc . Creativity is flowing and nothing can set you back . Run with this for you are the magician creating your flow with ease.

Five grieves over the loss of the only thing that remained to love her , a scraggly cat of the streets. Her loss is now complete as symblised by the holelike frame around her body. She has failed in her efforts to save the cat and in her misery she does not notice that the cats spirit has appeared in one of the pentacles causing it to glow with hope reborn.
You may be going through a tough time at the moment , maybe fallen out with a partner , lover or having financial material troubles .
This card is all about hope , sometimes things have to get worse to get better. A painful ending can actually be hiding an exciting beginning . Past is the past , time to carve out your future . Maybe even an ego death and spiritual rebirth .
