What to Expect at a Yoga Retreat

Good vibes , relaxation , soul searching , exploration , meditation , exciting activities , beautiful scenery , like minded people , healthy food and of course yoga

Not everyone is an yoga expert so no need to worry what level of expertise you are. Whether your there to develop and learn or just have calm chilled fun, that’s what its all about. Its how you want to enjoy your getaway.

Lets go into more detail ;)

Many yoga retreats include group silent walks which is a great way to connect with your group without communicating in voice yet also gives you a chance to appreciate your beautiful surroundings much more. As if there’s no one talking you are much more mindful of everything around you , such as the birds, trees, wind, sun, scenery and your group. Helps with the connection to the people around, Gaia and the beautiful experience you are apart of.

There will be plenty of time to relax so don’t worry about feeling overwhelmed. The whole point is for you to leave feeling chilled / zen. There will be times set out just for this so whether you choose to meditate, read, have some pamper time or go and explore its up to you.

Yoga retreats will more than likely have your food included and there will be plenty of time for this . Dont worry about being hungry as they know you need fuel for the experience. ;)

If you require Vegan / vegetarian options most retreats will have you covered , check to make sure before you book just to be on the safe side.

As yoga retreats are to detox, rejuvenate and energise the body the meals will be very healthy. If you wish, this also may be another chance to connect with the beautiful beings who have chosen this retreat. Again, only if you wish, if you want alone time the choice is yours.

Your perfect yoga experience awaits

At a yoga retreat you will certainly be enjoying lots of yoga. If you are new to yoga, don’t worry, it will be arranged in a way to suit you. As its your getaway, if you have had enough, you will be able to find other ways to relax your mind, body and soul and if you are experienced, you will enjoy ways to further deepen your yoga expertise.

Though your body may get a bit sore as its exercise it will be a soul connecting experience and you will be able to have down time when ever you want / need.

Find your perfect yoga retreat here

Whilst on a yoga retreat you should expect to try activities you may not normally do. Depending on the location you have chose these could be hiking, water sports, cooking classes, various group activities. The whole point is to try something new but of course the choice is yours.

Even a day out exploring your beautiful surroundings and local culture may be the perfect way for you to connect with the experience.

Of course apart of a yoga retreat is to connect with the people who are there. As you all have chosen this you are more than likely to be on the same vibe, so this is perfect to make new, potentially life long connections with people you may never meet without trying something like this. You may be there with a friend but many choose to go solo, so this is worth being mindful of. As always if you want alone time, it is your choice others will always give you space if you need it.

Just make sure you don’t miss out on that connection you have been missing over wanting to much peace. ;)
